Patchings ARTfest 2024

Join me at Patchings ARTfest 2024 on Thursday 11th July to Saturday 13th July 2024. There will be a selection of my work for sale, including original artwork and wearable art plus throughout the event I will be demonstrating the traditional craft of felt making.

Focusing on traditional feltmaking techniques, my work combines art with a love for making wearable useable items, embracing the dexterity of working with fibre I find transforming a sheep’s fleece into fabric endlessly fascinating.

Defined by strong colour combinations and colour blends using hand dyed wool, silks and hand spun yarns adding fine detail my work is characteristic of artisan felted work.

ARTfest 2024

Patchings Art Centre celebrate over 30 years, in bringing together well known artists, artisans and art materials from across the country and further a field.

Regulars will notice new and exciting additions including an extra Festival Marquee featuring a programme of demonstrations in oil and acrylic, a brand new experience with the Royal Society’s Marquee, along with changes to the refreshment area featuring a variety of food outlets.

As always the Patchings ARTfest aims to bring together the art world and those who enjoy art, for an experience of seeing, buying and doing.
