Wool and Silk Felted Burgundy Pot is a one of a kind art piece and is wet felted using blended Merino wool and a colourful selection of hand dyed silks. A beautifully shaped piece and lovely to decorate your home. Personally, I love to have these in my kitchen filled with sprigs of herbs or dried flowers, but equally there are many other purposeful uses, the soft felt means things can be pinned to them or just popped inside.
A perfect gift idea.
This method of felting uses soap, warm water and agitation to tangle fibres together to create felt. Felt is surprisingly strong and no two pieces will ever be the same, inspiration for this felt is defined by vibrant colour combinations and colour blends. The blended mix of Reds and Lilac gives this pot a nice warmth and a contemporary feel, the silk adds an extra textural element and fine detail which is characteristic of artisan felted work

Handmade pure wool. Care instructions: Hand washing is recommended, ideally wipe with a damp cloth and pad out with a small cloth to shape and allow dry naturally.
