Texture Pack TP1
Texture Pack TP1 is a unique selection of hand dyed silks, locks and yarns. I make these packs up with wet felters in mind but they can be used for many other mixed media and textile projects and are perfect for any textile work
Silks included are: Hand Dyed Mulberry Silk Brick / Hand Dyed Tussah Silk Tops / Hand Dyed Silk Hankies. Total weight 30g.
Hand Dyed Locks 15g
Wool Threads 5x 3M each.
Colour: Browns / Greens.
These silks are perfect for including in Felting projects and will felt perfectly so giving reassurance for beginner felt makers.
Hand Dyed Items – Cold wash only, not guaranteed colourfast.
All photos are unedited and taken in natural light. We try to accurately portray colours but there may be variations. There may be some colour run during wet felting.
If you fancy having a go at wet felting, join one of our Workshops. All materials, equipment and tuition are provided to support and guide you through the process of wet felting using traditional hand rolling techniques. You will be guided through choosing colours and textures and then the wet felting process. We also look at how to further enhance your work with embellishments such as beads, silks, yarns and embroidery to add further surface texture and detail. You will take away the work you produce on the day plus PDF notes for reference later.
