Silk is a beautiful, natural fabric. Its luxurious feel, texture and ability to capture colour and light reflection is an inspiration to fibre artists.

We supply a variety of silks all of which are hand dyed or silk painted. Hand dyed silks are unique and are a wonderful way to express personal style and individuality to your work.

All silks shown will Nuno felt perfectly and provide an opportunity to have the richness and vibrancy of the colours that only hand dying can provide. The silks are chosen with wet felters in mind, having the reassurance that the silks will felt is a good starting point for beginner Felt makers, but they can also be used for many other mixed media and textile projects.
